Now I feel like I am Graveyard Girl.
Death is her boyfriend
She spits on summers and smiles to the night
She collects crowns made of black roses
But her heart is made of bubble gum
Graveyard girl
Dark rags and red stars
She's the dirty witch of her high school
She worships Satan like a father
But dreams of a sister like Molly Ringwald
Graveyard girl
"I'm gonna jump the walls and run
I wonder if they'll miss me?
I won't miss them.
The cemetery is my home
I want to be a part of it,
Invisible even to the night.
Then I'll read poetry to the stones
Maybe one day I could be one of them.
Wise and silent.
Waiting for someone to love me.
Waiting for someone to kiss me.
I'm fifteen years old
And I feel it's already too late to live.
Don't you?"

Magic Wands
Chris and Dexy Valentine put out this video for "Kiss Me Dead," the best track on their Magic Wands EP, Magic Love & Dreams. The clip is an adroably half-assed piece of psychedelia, with the duo looking catatonic in their trademark wayfarers, but the song is certainly a whole-ass effort. It's still not clear, however, what the difference is between kissing someone "dead," and Lita Ford's kissing someone "deadly." Album out June 2010

Forgot your case (Post Rock band From Thailand)
Forgot your case is a Thai instrumental post-rock band from Bangkok.
The band, starting from a group of post-rock music lovers, was formed in 2006 with only 2 members. Now, there are 5 members: 3 guitarists, 1 bass player and 1 drummer, all still remain true post-rockers.The band members discovered each other in various online places and eventually met up and got together through a website where everyone was regular visitors, both as djs and listeners. They tried to incorporate their identities into their music until they eventually established their own ‘forgot your case’ style of post-rock music.

Assajan Jakgawan (Experimental Band From Thailand)
Inspired and influenced by all of the rock eras from the past to present. From simplicity yet heavily like grunge sounds to the pure beauty of sounds. The band had composed many songs together from the past but due to everyone’s schedule that doesn’t often match, leaves many uncompleted songs. In 2005 the new bass player (bassist) who shared the same inspirations was found, thus the band continued on finishing the songs that were left undone , which leads to the band’s first gig called IDIOM hosted by SO::ON and now becoming SO::ON dry Flowers who pushed us for mini album “Assajan Jakgawan” in the late of 2006 ASSAJAN JAKGAWAN is a phrase saying how miracle this universe is. It expresses the feelings of inspirations to all surroundings within both happiness and suffering, all of its mistifications emphasizes how small we all are… “sometimes we admire chaos, we just want to create what we like to hear ignoring all the rules, cause we’re just people who plays music not musicians, we don’t have enough discipline to be one.

Silent Scenery ( Post rock band from Malaysia)
Silent Scenery The post rock band from Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia)
Silent Scenery started of as an acoustic singer-songwriter project, during those days; Kit can always be seen performing with random sessionist. Silent Scenery plays soft, melodic tunes with intense lyrics and humming vocals. In the early days, bands like Smashing Pumpkins,Nirvana, and Radiohead heavily influenced Kit, but right after Kit got inspired by bands like Mogwai and Explosions In The Sky, he decided to form a band that play something that combines the elements of his early and late influences. In the year 2007, Silent Scenery turns into a complete band, having Lipei on the bass, Ivan on second guitar, and Feroze on drums while Kit take care of the vocals, guitar and ambient effects. In January 2008, Feroze & Lipei stepped down from the drums & bass guitar position due to some personal commitment. The drums position soon taken by Sawaki Seikan while Tomas is recruited as Bassist. Silent Scenery has just release their debut mini album on 2nd August 2008 in Malaysia and 24th August 2008 in Bangkok, Thailand under Finalkid Group.

Singapore Sling
Singapore Sling was formed in Spring of 2000 in Reykjavík, capital of Iceland with the reunion of Henrik Bjornsson (singer, songwriter, guitarist) and Einar Kristjánsson (lead guitarist).
Henrik had some 8-track demos and wanted to create a band, one of these demos was Overdrive that surfaced online in the Iceland Airwaves 2001 official website
and that would later become Overdriver, the opening track for the debut LP.
Singapore Sling have supported The Brian Jonestown Massacre on their North American tours and covered Dirty Water a 1966 garage rock hit by The Standells in their debut album.
They have also covered The Monks’ I Hate You in the 2006 compilation Silver Monk Time:
A Tribute to the Monks.
Their neo-psychedelia sound has often been compared by the media to acts such as
The Velvet Underground, My Bloody Valentine, The Jesus and Mary Chain

Teenagersintokyo
Teenagersintokyo aren’t teenagers nor from Tokyo. They are four girls (plus a guy, he comes
later) who met a decade ago on their first day of high school, and formed a band in Grade Seven
art class. They did vocal covers of their favourite songs; the first being a cover of Daft punk’s ‘Da
Funk’. Miska sang percussion, Sam belted out some random noise, Sophie crooned the synth
line and Linda yelled some arbitrary vocals. No one approved.
Eight years later, the girls picked up real instruments and found a boy named Rudy to play drums.
After releasing their self-titled E.P., the band was adopted by UK’s Back Yard Recordings, the
tastemaker label responsible for finding internationally acclaimed bands such as Chromeo and
The Gossip. They have also released their record in Australia through Pavement
Entertainment, and in Japan through Rallye/Klee Label; home to the Klaxons, Au Revoir
Simone and The Teenagers.
They have just come back from a small but well picked run of shows throughout Europe and the
UK. Selling out one of London’s core musical establishments Camden’s Barfly, teenagersintokyo
also hit up venues in Paris, Berlin and Manchester, and then returned home in time to join !!!
(Chk Chk Chk) on their national tour. Since then, they have been excited to find out that initial
pressings of their EP have sold out in the UK as well as in Australia.
teenagersintokyo have shared the stage with !!! (Chk Chk Chk), CSS, The Slits, Midnight
Juggernauts, The Gossip, Van She, Lost Valentinos, Cut Off Your Hands and Damn Arms
amongst others.

Air doll
Air Doll is a 2009 Japanese drama film directed by Hirokazu Koreeda. It is based on a manga by Yoshiie Gōda, which was serialized in the seinen manga magazine Big Comic Original, and is about an inflatable doll that develops a soul and falls in love. The movie debuted in the Un Certain Regard section at the 62nd Cannes Film Festival.
Middle-aged Hideo lives alone with an inflatable doll he calls Nozomi. The doll is his closest companion: he dresses it up, talks to it over dinner, and has sexual intercourse with it. However, unbeknown to Hideo, Nozomi was created with a heart. After Hideo leaves for work each day, Nozomi dresses in her maid's outfit and explores the world outside their apartment with a sense of child-like wonder. She encounters various city residents who metaphorically are as "empty inside" as she is. When Nozomi meets Junichi, who works at a local video store, she falls in love with him and gets a part-time job at the store. She learns about the world through the movies she watches with Junichi, but her happiness with him is interrupted by a dramatic turn of events.
Director Koreeda has stated that the film is about the loneliness of urban life and the question of what it means to be human.Wednesday, January 6, 2010
Cold Cave
Cold Cave is an experimental synthpop musical group based in Philadelphia. According to Pitchfork the band's sound "weaves incomprehensibly distorted vocals with bits of synthetic feedback", but some songs "also come bearing serious hooks."
That mixture of postpunk unease and fluid bleep would've made Cold Cave fit right in on the early-80s Factory Records roster alongside Section 25 or the Durutti Column.

WILD PALMS
‘Over Time’ is the debut single from London band, WILD PALMS.
Suffice to say it’s an anticipated release amongst those in the know,
as the band, Lou, Gareth, James and Darrell have created somewhat of a following since their conception a year ago.

The Cinematics
The Cinematics are an alternative rock band from Scotland
The bands debut album “A Strange Education” was relased in 2007
The Cinematics' second album, Love and Terror, was released on 6th October 2009.
The album has a darker, more raw sound than that found on their debut album,
although there have been examples of synthesisers being used in addition to guitars, bass
and drums, and the songs appear to be more lyric-based. The band’s website confirms that
they will be touring Europe extensively in 2010 and in their Myspace blogs they have stated that they expect to
return to North America also. In interviews the band have also stated that
they expect to write and record a third album, between touring, for release in 2010, although this has yet to be confirmed.

GOO
Goo formed from the ashes of Bangkok based band Futon.
They played their debut show in 2009 in Hanoi, Vietnam and performed live for the first time in Thailand at the FAT FESTIVAL in November 2009.
The band has just finished recording with Slot Machine producer Scott Moffat.
The recordings will appear on a limited edition CD, called ‘Sponsored by Nobody’ that will be given away free to fans. With no sponsor or record company support, it was an incredible struggle for Goo to get the songs recorded. The band’s intention to keep the songs pure and free from any corporate interference meant they had to maintain complete control and not sell out to ‘the man’.
Inspired by the Sex Pistols classic ‘Spunk’ bootleg album (a collection of early demos that was released on vinyl) Goo decided to release the raw recordings to ensure the songs kept their soul and weren’t sanitized by over cautious record companies or obtrusive sponsors. The anthemic songs appear uncompromised and intact without apology.

Let there be rock
"Let there be sound", and there was sound
"Let there be light", and there was light
"Let there be drums", and there was drums
"Let there be guitar", and there was guitar
"Let there be rock"
One night in a club called `The Shaking Hand'
There was a ninety-two decibel rocking band
The music was good and the music was loud
And the singer turned and he said to the crowd -
"Let there be rock"
Love this song forever
